We negotiated 5 laws this year:<\/p><p id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1692782560234_450\" class=\"\"><br><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2764\ufe0f\u200d\ud83e\ude79<strong>Recovery Fund:<\/strong> developed a new methodology for 256bn green spending \ud83c\udf40\ud83d\udcaa<\/li>\n<li>\ud83d\udc69\u200d\ud83d\udcbb<strong>Blue Card:<\/strong> turned into a tech visa (no degree needed) &amp; allowed people to take \u2018years\u2019 towards long term residence to other EU countries &amp; refugees to apply<\/li>\n<li>\ud83c\udfe0 <strong>EU Asylum Agency:<\/strong> sadly no EU asylum status exists yet, but with the agency we strengthen rights \/ harmonize procedures across the EU<\/li>\n<li>\ud83d\udcb6 <strong>Budget 2022:<\/strong> Pushed for better EU institutions as lead negotiator. Always good to understand how the money flows<\/li>\n<li>\ud83d\udcc0 <strong>Data Governance Act:<\/strong> ensured that data intermediaries need to be neutral when trading data, to ensure trust and break oligopolies<\/li>\n<\/ul><div><br><\/div>\n<p class=\"\">So, a good year for law making! \ud83d\udce3 thanks to the best team Kamilla, Rina, Jo and Johannes for this work! Next year will be equally busy.<\/p><p class=\"\"><br><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\ud83d\uddf3 <strong>EU Electoral law:<\/strong> continue to push for voting age 16, a second vote for European lists, and gender equality!<\/li>\n<li>\ud83d\udde3 <strong>Future conference:<\/strong> it\u2019s a bit opaque, but hey, it\u2019s a chance to demand treaty change with citizens<\/li>\n<li>\ud83e\udd16 <strong>AI report:<\/strong> shape the parliaments perspective on AI!<\/li>\n<li>\ud83d\udcc0 <strong>Data Act:<\/strong> who can monetize data in automated cars (manufacturer, user, both?), if governments are allowed to ask Google to disclose traffic data, etc<\/li>\n<li>\ud83d\udc77\u200d\u2640\ufe0f <strong>Labour migration:<\/strong> Blue Card was a good start, but now it\u2019s about more EU mobility &amp; rights for all migrant workers<\/li>\n<li>\ud83c\udff0 <strong>Asylum:<\/strong> people are still suffering at the walls of fortress Europe &#8211; I will continue to push for a more humane system, also within the Crisis Regulation (basically for if 2015 repeats itself).<\/li>\n<\/ul><div><br><\/div>\n<p>Thanks to all Volters, volunteers, voters, critics &amp; friendly companions \ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffc<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/VoltEuropa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@VoltEuropa<\/a> is growing, we are in 2 national parliaments (The Netherlands &amp; Bulgaria), have 18 parties across EU &amp; +70 local reps \ud83d\udcaa<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p>Next: running in 2024 ON ALL EU COUNTRIES as a truly European party<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p>Have a good break everyone, recreate your energies and enjoy the food!!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hey everyone &#8211; after a busy year, here is a little recap of what happened and what\u2019s to come.
